Service Contracts

To optimize your equipment performance and minimise system downtime, Orbital offers a comprehensive range of service contract options.


Most service contracts are bespoke and therefore tailored to the needs of your particular process or commercial requirements. Typical contracts include scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration visits as well as offering a priority fast track service for on-site repair visits along with telephone assistance, discounts on spares and product training.

Our in-house service and repair facility is equipped with all the necessary diagnostic and calibration equipment to support all of our products and project. This allows us to be self sufficient in the repair and calibration of your equipment. This enables Orbital to provide quicker turnaround times for repairs of critical instrumentation and negates the need to return equipment to the manufacturer.

We hold a comprehensive stock of spares and consumables to support both current and existing instrumentation and process consumables. We also have the facilities to hold customer owned strategic spares and currently conduct this service for a number of the UK’ s largest utility companies. We can take your spares orders over the telephone and organize priority shipping of your order; in addition our service engineer’s vans are stocked with a range of spares and consumables to ensure a fast and efficient service when visiting your site.

 




24 Hour Help Line

You can supplement your service contract with our 24/7 helpline service.

Subscribing to our helpline allows you to contact one of our engineers 24 hours, 7 days a week. When you need assistance, you will talk directly to one of our on-call service engineers who will endeavor to find a solution to your problem on the call or arrange a priority service visit to rectify the issue.

 



Calibration

To keep your system at optimum performance we provide various calibration options.

Depending on the type of system installed and the process that it is connected to, a calibration scheme can be scheduled to meet your needs. Visits can be scheduled at a time that is convenient so as to minimise disruption to your site. A typed and signed report will be provided for each calibration to allow an auditable trail of service activities. The format can be adapted to meet your quality systems requirements. Orbital can provide all the necessary calibration tools and reference calibration tools (e.g. calibration gas).

 



Training

We have a dedicated on-site training suite which includes up to date audio visual facilities for theory based training, as well as a workshop environment for hands on experience.

We have a large range of training courses for various equipment and applications, which will be conducted by our expert personnel. We can work with you to put together a bespoke training package that best meets the needs of your personnel, application and equipment. Alternatively we offer hands-on training courses conducted on your own site with your own equipment.

We conduct regular training sessions that cover all aspects of our equipment and projects and have been successfully training technicians and engineers for over 30 years. Following all training sessions we conduct individual confidential surveys to ensure our delegates are fully satisfied and where required we can adjust or improve our methods accordingly.
